You can share information with conference participants from the Web Client.

The MiShareApp application must be installed in your machine before you can initiate sharing for the first time. The application is provided through the AWV server and can be downloaded from MiCollab End-user Portal. The installation needs to be done manually once the application is downloaded.
The MiShareApp application is installed and upgraded automatically with installation of MiCollab for PC Client.
Upgrade MiShareApp application manually in below cases:
With installation of legacy Desktop Client.
NOTE: Safari and Internet Explorer 9 platforms do not support automatic download of MiShareApp when Share is clicked in the Web Client.
When MiCollab Client is not installed.
To upgrade MiShareApp:
Uninstall the previous version of MiShareApp.
For Windows: Under Add or remove programs, click MiShareApp to select it, and then click Uninstall.
For Mac: Drag the MiShareApp application from the Applications folder to the Trash folder.
Double-click the downloaded MiShareApp application.
Follow the installation wizard instructions to install the MiShareApp application.
To initiate web sharing on non-chrome browsers:
Copy the Join Meeting link that is provided in the Leader's invitation or copy it directly from the MiCollab Audio, Web and Video Conferencing web page.
Or click on the Join Meeting link in the invitation e-mail.
Enter the link in the address bar of your browser.
NOTE: Make sure that pop-ups are allowed in your browser settings.
The Web Client main page will open.
To join as a Participant, enter your name and click Join.
To join as a Leader, click Join as Leader and enter your credentials.
Click
Share in the Web Client.
If the application is not installed, it is downloaded when Share is clicked.
NOTE: Make sure that pop-ups are allowed in your browser settings.
Manually run and install the MiShareApp after the download.
Once the MiShareApp is installed, click Share to initiate sharing.
The
screen selection popup appears, Your
Entire Screen
is selected for sharing.
NOTE: Application sharing is not supported on non-chrome browsers. Entire screen will be shared with the participants.
Click Share to start sharing.
When sharing is in progress,
Stop
Sharing
dialog box appears at the bottom, you can choose to Hide the dialog
or to Stop sharing.
To stop sharing, click Stop sharing in the dialog box.
The MiCollab Audio, Web and Video Conferencing Web sharing application and extension must be installed in your Chrome browser before you can initiate sharing for the first time. The application and extensions are provided through the Chrome Web Store. The installation process starts automatically when you click Share for the first time. You only need to install this software once.

Click Add app.
Click Next.

When the installation is complete, click Close Window. You are returned to the Main Conference page. (It is automatically refreshed).
Click the Share button again and the share pop up dialog window appears.
Use the Share menu to share your Application or Desktop with the other participants in the conference. After you join from the web client and start sharing, you can see your name +(webshare) in the left panel of the application.
After you start sharing, the MiShareApp dialog box appears at the bottom of the screen to indicate sharing. Click Hide to minimize the MiShareApp dialog box.
On Windows platforms, two Chrome icons appear in the application
tray. Hover your mouse over the Chrome icon
in the tray and click the MiShareApp dialog box to display
it again.
On MAC platforms, a single Chrome icon is in the dock. Right click the icon and select the MiShareApp dialog box to display it again.
To stop sharing, click Stop sharing in the MiShareApp dialog box.
Your PC must meet the MiCollab Audio, Web and Video Conferencing computer requirements.
On Windows, sometimes multiple entire screens may appear as screen selection options.
While recording is being broadcasted from Windows Desktop Client, if user tries to share from Web Client, then the sharing app launches, webshare participant is also added, user can see the stop sharing dialog, but sharing does not start. Instead, only the broadcasted recording is displayed in the viewer.
You cannot share a Region. Only Application and Desktop sharing is supported.
You cannot share applications in minimized mode.
On Windows platform in general, while sharing an application, the menu items are not shared if application is not in full screen mode. Menu options are shared in Full screen mode.
On Windows 8/8.1 platforms, the Start menu is visible after the application is shared.
On Windows 10 platforms, if you are sharing an application and then move to another desktop in a multi-desktop environment, your Desktop is visible.
On Windows 7 platforms, if you move the application to the background, the preview section can shift slightly to the right resulting in a thin black strip appearing on the left.
On Mac platforms, the size of the Preview window is reduced when a shared application is minimized.
Sharing an MS office 2016 application will work only when application is in full-screen and is in focus. If the application is re-sized or focus is lost, the preview section will show the wrong content.
On Windows platforms, some applications in Sharing selection dialog box may appear black (HipChat, Sticky Notes, Visual Studio Code). Sharing is not supported for applications that appear blacked out in the Sharing selection dialog box. In such cases, share Your Entire Screen and bring the application in front.
Sharing is not supported for the Windows Sticky Notes application.
Edge browser is not shown in the applications list.
When sharing PowerPoint application (Application window sharing is used instead of Entire Screen sharing), when user starts the PowerPoint slide show, the slide show does not get shared. The previous PowerPoint screen is shared
When downloading the MiShareApp file:
Safari will open a new tab but it does not close after the download.
Other browsers will download the app on the same tab.
On Edge version 25, MiShareApp does not launch on clicking Share. It works as expected on other versions of Edge.
When the application is launched for the first time from Share, a confirmation popup is displayed on the browser for the users to confirm to open the app. There is an option to remember the confirmation choice made by user. However, on Edge, the confirmation popup always appears, and cannot be avoided.
On Firefox browser, after manually uninstalling the MiShareApp, you must refresh the Firefox browser to reset the browser preferences. To refresh the Firefox browser:
On Firefox browser, click the Menu button (on upper-right corner) and then click Help.
From the Help menu, choose Troubleshooting Information.
Click the Refresh Firefox button in the upper-right corner of the Troubleshooting Information page.
To continue, click Refresh Firefox in the confirmation window.
Screen lock behavior while sharing:
On Mac, if the machine is turned to sleep mode while sharing, sharing is paused and a black preview is displayed. However, sharing resumes when the screen wakes up, that is, if there is a mouse or keyboard movement.
On Windows 10, if the screen is locked while sharing Entire screen, lock screen is visible. On Windows 7 and 8 sharing is paused.
